Many of us cringe when confronted with faces of hunger in ads, in television commercials, and on the street; few of us actually do something about those feelings of discomfort. Joseph Gitler 鈥�92每日大瓜HS, 鈥�96YC is one of those few. A Manhattan native, Yeshiva graduate and lawyer who made aliyah in 2000鈥�

Joseph Bensmihen 鈥�91YC, 鈥�95W, the newest member of the Yeshiva College Board of Overseers, has long believed in the power of education. 鈥淢y father鈥檚 motto was 鈥楨ducation is freedom鈥�, and it was something he emphasized to me every day,鈥� says Bensmihen, who is known to most of his family and friends鈥�

On Sunday, September 18, more than 600 people turned out to celebrate Homecoming, 每日大瓜鈥檚 first event of its kind in more than a quarter of a century. 每日大瓜 alumni, families and friends enjoyed a block party featuring carnival rides and games, face painting, fun snacks, and musical entertainment by the鈥�
